  Wednesday for a late lunch. No other customers; tasty food and great staff. Smooth jazz on the sound system. Very nice.

  maybe the worst meal i've had in 10 years. the risotto wasn't risotto, but a greasy ball of mess, the gnocchi was about 10 times larger than any i've had in my life, which made what otherwise might have been decent gnocchi just pasty and gross. the chicken Marsala was under-seasoned, with mushrooms that looked like they were cooked 3 days ago and reheated, on top. The mushrooms tasted like an oily mess, instead of serving the mushrooms on the bottom, hiding the horrible canned look, they put them on top so it looked something like an ice-cream scoop of slugs sitting on my chicken. the Marsala sauce, was burnt, watery, and broken... i assumed at first that it had just sat in the window too long but after eating other food, it was just par for the course. the ONLY thing properly prepared was the Brussel sprouts and the sweet tea, everything else we left, without eating, it was a horrible disgusting mess, we went in hoping for a nice fun meal on a saturday morning, we got a catastrophe. i usually do not write bad reviews of restaurants but avoid this place like the plague. now the prices were VERY reasonable, had the food even RESEMBLED what i had ordered, we paid only 28 dollars for all that not including the tip... which we left because it wasnt the waiter's fault that the food was vile. my suggestion is they raise the prices and hire competent kitchen staff who actually understand Italian food. this meal was absolute buffoonery and everything had a burnt flavor.
