  This is one of my husband's and my favorite restaurants in Richmond! A very different style than the ritzy nouveau restaurants downtown, Crab Louie has a very rustic, inn-feel (as it should), and is a very cozy place for a nice romantic dinner. The food here is absolutely phenomenal! It's a very unique space, and it holds a special place in our hearts. We came here for Valentine's Day dinner once and it snowed outside and the place almost lost power... but it made for an incredibly memorable night with the fireplace light and all the charming folks at dinner with us. Everyone responded merrily, and the staff gave us chocolates to take home. It made me feel like I was at an inn in Maine or New Hampshire (and I would know, as I used to live there)!

  Food was slightly better than average but the when we ordered drinks on the rocks ---------We got an extra charge for the rocks (ice)! Did not notice the charge until I got home and called the next day to make them aware of the mistake and was told "there is a charge for the ROCKS (ice). I just mention that the 8 of us would not be dining with them again ever and they could have cared less. I have shown our ticket to quite a few friends and no one can believe it.

  I have been eating here over the past 40 years & it is always excellent. The sweet & corn breads they bring as starters are delicious & the entrees are always fresh & perfectly cooked. Great shops & deserts too.
